Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review invoices in customized formats as required by clients and Billing Attorneys.
2. Perform override calculations and changes based on client and attorney requirements.
3. Assist with identification and reconciliation of received payments.
4. Monitor aging of unbilled fees, costs, and accounts receivable for assigned attorneys.
5. Collaborate with Billing Attorneys to address aged unbilled items.
6. Coordinate billing and collection efforts with the Accounting department.
7. Support the preparation and reporting of client budgets.
8. Use department software (3E) to maintain and prepare billing information.
9. Generate and modify reports through the billing system as needed.
10. Communicate with clients regarding billing deadlines, inquiries, and concerns.
11. Gather billing and rate data periodically and prepare reports and statistics.
12. Ensure billing/payment accuracy for write-offs.
13. Master client billing guidelines and ensure work accuracy and conformance.
14. Provide basic financial data analysis and prepare complex reports if required.
15. Handle special and ad hoc projects from attorneys or supervisors.
