Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks a Billing Analyst to support standard and automated billing within Core Standard, reporting to the Billing Director. You will analyze, reconcile, and improve billing processes to deliver accurate, timely statements for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Finance, Client Services, and IT to drive automation, maintain SOPs, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Strong PC and Microsoft Excel with PivotTables, VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with Excel macros is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for standard and automated billing processes.
• Be main point of contact for Center of Excellence analysts.
• Perform reconciliations between automated results and source data.
• Research root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Support migration of contracts to automated billing.
• Review requirements for automation eligibility.
• Assist with configuration and testing of new automated billing.
• Maintain billing documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Client Services, IT on enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation and accuracy.
• Support monthly and recurring billing cycles on deadlines.
