Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related finance operations roles.
• Experience with contract-based or subscription billing environments.
• Proficiency with ERP or billing systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leveraging automation or AI tools to improve financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly billing processes by preparing, reviewing, and issuing invoices in alignment with contractual terms.
• Review client contracts by extracting key billing terms and validating alignment with system configurations.
• Reconcile billing data by comparing multiple data sources and identifying discrepancies.
• Investigate billing variances by analyzing usage, pricing, or contract terms and documenting findings.
• Maintain billing schedules by updating billing information in systems.
• Generate and validate reseller and third-party billing files for accuracy and compliance.
• Support resolution of billing issues by researching discrepancies with internal teams.
• Process credit memos by validating documentation and approvals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain inputs and clarify billing questions.
• Assist external customers with billing inquiries and invoice disputes.
• Ensure data integrity by reviewing inputs/outputs across billing systems.
• Maintain billing documentation for audit readiness.
• Follow internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Respond to inquiries with clear, timely billing information.
• Prepare basic billing reports and summaries for review.
