Job summary

Guild seeks a Billing Analyst to manage billing and payment operations across our marketplace, ensuring tuition and revenue dollars move accurately and on time. You will investigate discrepancies, manage onboarding/offboarding, and drive AI-enabled improvements to raise team capacity.

This hybrid Denver-based role requires in-office presence at least 3 days per week, with compensation details outlined below.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other mathematical or technical areas, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Self-starter with time-management and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical, detailed, and process-oriented mindset.
• Experience with billing/payments systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel/Sheets proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and payment operations across Guild's marketplace to ensure timely posting of tuition, revenue, and employer benefit dollars.
• Investigate root causes of payment discrepancies and lead collections escalations with partner accounts.
• Review partner contracts for billing variances and oversee onboarding/offboarding lifecycle including invoicing setup.
• Oversee end-to-end cash application, check processing, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and AI-assisted solutions to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on invoicing, payments, and billing inquiries.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects requiring high execution and attention to detail.
