Job description

Summary

As the Billing Administrator for Experian, you will compile, manage, and utilize billing data, contract provisions, and pricing structures across multiple systems to support client billing and invoicing. You will assist in ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of billing processes. Additional responsibilities include participating in teams responsible for creating end-user requirements for billing platform enhancements and workflow management improvements. You will report to the Billing Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Complete new client setup and maintain existing accounts for invoicing purposes.
  2. Collaborate with sales, support, finance, and pricing teams to gather necessary information for account maintenance, monthly billing, and ad hoc adjustments.
  3. Research and respond to billing-related inquiries, providing explanations and facilitating resolutions.
  4. Lead initiatives to develop billing workflow tools aimed at automating data gathering and increasing process efficiency.
  5. Prepare, review, and update billing documentation for accuracy and compliance with policies.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of billing/Order-to-Cash (OTC) experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, capable of managing complex spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience interpreting written client contracts.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business or ERP systems is an advantage.
