Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Medicaid waiver claims for resident care services, track authorizations and resolve denials.
• Generate and send monthly statements to private pay residents and responsible parties and answer billing questions professionally.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on past-due balances, and work with families and payers to keep accounts current.
• Process vendor invoices and pay bills accurately and on schedule, prioritizing payments per cash flow plans by leadership.
• Reconcile payments, deposits, and resident ledgers; keep billing and AP records audit-ready.
• Provide regular AR and AP reports to leadership and flag cash flow concerns early.
• Protect the confidentiality of resident financial and personal information.

The Business Office Manager owns resident billing and day-to-day accounts payable and receivable. You'll make sure every service we provide is billed correctly and paid on time, keep resident accounts current, and manage outgoing payments carefully to protect cash flow. You'll work closely with community leadership, care staff, residents, and their families. Compensation:

$60,000 - $62,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit Medicaid waiver claims for resident care services, including [e.g., Minnesota Elderly Waiver and CADI; Wisconsin Family Care through managed care organizations]. Track authorizations and resolve denials and rejections promptly.
• Generate and send monthly statements to private pay residents and responsible parties for housing and services, and answer billing questions professionally and compassionately.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on past-due balances, and work with families and payers to keep accounts current.
• Process vendor invoices and pay bills accurately and on schedule, prioritizing payments in line with cash flow plans set by leadership.
• Reconcile payments, deposits, and resident ledgers. Keep billing and AP records accurate and audit-ready.
• Provide regular AR and AP reports to leadership and flag cash flow concerns early.
• Protect the confidentiality of resident financial and personal information.
