Job summary

Atlas Toyota Material Handling is hiring an Accounting Associate to support the New Equipment Sales Department. You will handle billing, invoicing, PO verification, and month-end tasks within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in accounting, a diploma or degree in accounting, strong Excel/Word skills, and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday on-site work with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
1-3 years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or general office experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience working with accounting or ERP software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage billing and invoicing activities for the new equipment sales department.
Process, verify, and approve vendor invoices by matching purchase orders and investigating discrepancies.
Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve variances.
Compile and analyze sales data to accurately calculate monthly commissions.
Perform various administrative and office duties as assigned.
