PLA and its Family of Companies in Fort Smith, Arkansas, seeks an Accounting Coordinator to support the accounting team in a fast-paced environment. The role covers accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cash application, and reconciliations, requiring organization and accuracy.

This onsite position includes a schedule of 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour and full-time status.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in an office, accounting, billing, or similar environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependability in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
• Post and apply customer payments and cash receipts.
• Manage customer portals and online billing systems.
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies.
• Support billing activities and customer account maintenance.
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Communicate with internal team members regarding invoices, payments, billing, and account-related questions.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
