Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a BILL.com AP consultant to assess and stabilize the Accounts Payable environment during a BILL.com implementation.

This remote engagement requires hands-on problem solving and rapid onboarding to resolve issues and improve the integration with Sage Intacct. You will strengthen AP processes and internal controls, develop clear procedures for ongoing operations, and provide hands-on training to the AP team while partnering with finance leadership

Qualifications

• Experience integrating BILL.com with Sage Intacct.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end AP operations.
• Ability to document procedures and train internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current BILL.com configuration, workflows, and overall functionality to identify issues and opportunities for improvement
• Diagnose and resolve BILL.com and Sage Intacct integration and synchronization issues
• Domestic and international payments
• Account and payment reconciliations
• Identify process inefficiencies and internal control gaps, then recommend and implement practical improvements
• Optimize BILL.com workflows and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control
• Develop clear desktop procedures and process documentation for ongoing AP operations
• Provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to the AP team
• Establish sustainable processes that allow the internal team to confidently manage the platform and AP workflow independently
• Partner directly with finance leadership and the AP team throughout the assessment and remediation process

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a BILL.com AP Consultant in Washington, DC. Summary: We are seeking an experienced consultant to support an organization with an immediate assessment and stabilization of its Accounts Payable environment during a BILL.com implementation. This consultant will take a hands-on approach to identifying the root causes of existing system and process issues, improving the integration between BILL.com and Sage Intacct, strengthening AP processes and internal controls, and establishing sustainable procedures for the internal team. This is a remote consulting engagement requiring someone who can quickly assess the current environment and begin resolving issues with minimal onboarding. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the current BILL.com configuration, workflows, and overall functionality to identify issues and opportunities for improvement
• Diagnose and resolve BILL.com and Sage Intacct integration and synchronization issues
• Domestic and international payments
• Account and payment reconciliations

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with BILL.com, including configuration, workflow setup, and troubleshooting
• Experience with BILL Spend & Expense (Divvy)
• Demonstrated experience integrating and/or troubleshooting BILL.com with Sage Intacct
• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable operations
• Experience evaluating and improving AP processes and internal controls
• Ability to independently assess an AP environment, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Experience documenting procedures and providing training or knowledge transfer to internal teams
• Ability to work effectively with limited onboarding and quickly become productive in an existing environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills

Ideal Background

• The ideal consultant has previously stepped into an organization experiencing challenges with a BILL.com implementation or AP technology environment and has personally worked through configuration, integration, workflow, and process issues; This individual should be equally comfortable troubleshooting systems and evaluating the underlying AP processes and controls
• Experience independently leading an AP assessment, system stabilization, or process-improvement initiative is highly desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
