Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is hiring a Transporter Specialist for the La Jornada program. You will coordinate transportation, physically escort unaccompanied youth, and ensure their safety while in transit between destinations and sponsors.

The role requires frequent travel, strong organization, bilingual English/Spanish communication, and the ability to manage documentation and safety protocols. A high school diploma and drivers license are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• Must pass agility and strength evaluation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and escort youth in transit to scheduled appointments.
• Travel out of state up to 40–50% for reunification efforts.
• Maintain daily rosters and records of times, destinations, and transporters.
• Provide safety training and ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety.
