Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Tucson seeks a Transporter Specialist for the La Jornada Program, focusing on transitional foster care. You will coordinate transportation, physically escort unaccompanied youth, and support reunification efforts with sponsors.

The role requires travel out of state up to 40-50%, strong safety awareness, documentation, and collaboration with medical and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required with strong communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and supervise youth in transit.
• Escort youth in and out of locations; ensure safety and security of transport vehicles.
• Maintain daily transport rosters and document appointments and events.
• Travel out of state up to 40–50% to support reunification efforts.
• Provide safety training and follow CPI/CPR guidelines.
