National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Transporter Specialist for the La Jornada program. You will coordinate transportation and physically escort unaccompanied youth, travel as needed, manage schedules, and train new staff.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include maintaining rosters, ensuring vehicle safety, and adapting to flexible transport demands while upholding NYAP’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with at-risk youth preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficient use of computers, smartphones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to travel 40–50% and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and physically escort youth to appointments and activities.
• Travel out of state up to 40–50% for reunification efforts.
• Maintain rosters and track medical and transport schedules.
• Provide safety training to new hires every three weeks.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and secure for daily operations.
• Record documentation of missed appointments and incidents for Management.
