Job summary

Kenneth Young Center is seeking a Bilingual Community Collaboration Project Associate in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on planning and delivering youth-focused prevention programs, coordinating youth and community workgroups, and supporting outreach with families and communities.

The position is grant-funded, not a work-from-home role, and requires reliable transportation and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong bilingual communication in English/Spanish is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is desired.
• 2 years' experience working with youth (ages 11-18) preferred.
• Ability to travel between offices and community sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement prevention activities for youth 11-24 in collaboration with the grant.
• Coordinate youth and community workgroups and events.
• Provide translations for clients and families as needed.
• Collect data and prepare required reports for the funder and KYC.
• Travel to multiple suburbs for outreach and programming.
