United Against Human Trafficking in Magnolia, TX is seeking a Bilingual Counselor to provide direct counseling services to youth and families within our Youth & Family Services program, using trauma-informed approaches.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, group work, and collaboration with schools and community partners; a Master’s degree and Spanish bilingualism are required, with licensure expectations to follow, and a commitment to equal opportunity service.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field with licensure.
• At least 1 year of counseling/direct service experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients and families individually or in groups to achieve goals.
• Maintain a minimum of 50% direct service hours weekly.
• Provide crisis intervention 24/7 with weekly rotations.
• Complete and maintain client paperwork and progress notes.
• Provide CBT and trauma-focused CBT to youth.
• Participate in supervision and staff meetings.
