Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho is seeking an experienced professional to assess applicants for enrollment in job training and to refer clients to potential employment opportunities. You will enroll clients, help them set training goals, and recruit eligible individuals for programs.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong counseling skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A HS diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in workforce preparation preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required in a business setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess applicants to determine eligibility for enrollment in job training or referral to employers.
• Enroll clients and assist in setting employment goals and developing individual training plans.
• Refer clients to potential job openings and recruit eligible individuals for training programs.
• Counsel clients to determine employment, training, educational, and related services.
• Survey and research area jobs, trainings, and related services; maintain listings of current openings.
• Provide referral services to clients regarding community services available; may work with youth programs.
• Prepare records, documents, files, reports, databases.
