Ekspert Counsel is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Litigation Paralegal in Miami with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support attorneys across all phases of workers’ compensation matters.

The role emphasizes case management, legal research, drafting and filing, discovery, and trial preparation, with a strong preference for bilingual candidates who can manage deadlines and multi‑task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience.
• Experience supporting attorneys through the litigation process.
• Familiarity with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Experience organizing and maintaining litigation case files.
• Strong legal research and document preparation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of workers’ compensation litigation.
• Organize, maintain, and update litigation case files.
• Ensure pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, medical records, and other case documents are accurate and accessible.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy and document preparation.
• Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate and complete court and administrative filings.
• Assist attorneys with written discovery and other discovery‑related matters.
• Gather, review, organize, and summarize relevant case materials.
• Assist with obtaining and organizing medical records and other supporting documentation.
• Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments and filings.
• Assist attorneys with deposition and hearing preparation.
• Coordinate trial preparation and related logistics.
• Prepare and maintain trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other parties as needed.
• Manage multiple workers’ compensation matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
