Symbiotic Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Woodshop Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee woodshop production, lead a manufacturing team, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time schedules. The role emphasizes Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and KPI-driven performance in a fast-paced furniture environment.

The ideal candidate will manage staffing, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining cost efficiency and safety standards on the floor.

Formación

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication required.
• Ability to work second shift and accommodate scheduling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen practices.
• Experience using KPIs to monitor manufacturing performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, train, and develop a diverse workforce.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily second-shift woodshop production activities to meet schedules, productivity targets, and quality standards.
• Apply manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, resources, and efficiency.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, and schedules to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Monitor output, labor utilization, scrap, rework, equipment efficiency, and costs.
• Use KPIs to evaluate productivity, quality, efficiency, safety, and departmental performance.
• Ensure completed work moves to subsequent production departments efficiently.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development on process improvements and new product introductions.
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate production employees and team leads.
• Communicate daily production expectations, priorities, and KPI targets.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the department.
• Coordinate with HR regarding staffing, development, attendance, and performance.
• Train employees on standardized work, Lean principles, safety, and quality.
• Address performance concerns promptly and professionally.
• Foster a positive, results-oriented manufacturing environment and retention.
