Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has an immediate full-time opportunity to join our operations team as a Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Manager in Illinois. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment with problem solving and a focus on safety, this is the job for you!

As a full-time KBS employee, you will supervise janitorial operations, manage labor budgets, ensure training, and maintain safety across all shifts, including forklift safety and PPE handling.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory and leadership experience in distribution centers, janitorial or building maintenance.
• Experience in janitorial operations strongly preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational financial budget, labor planning, and cost optimization.
• Provides direct supervision of assigned janitorial operations personnel.
• Ensures proper training for all personnel in their respective positions.
• Measures performance, provides feedback and develops staff setting clear expectations ensuring employee safety is a priority committing to timely incident reporting procedures.
• Collaborates with team to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations, resolving deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Maintains coverages for all 3 shifts by coordinating and collaborating with shift leads confirming daily schedules.
• Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures and issues disciplinary actions where needed.
• Implements company use of machinery and safety programs including forklift training.
• Manages chemicals and supply inventory ensures employee safety and use of proper PPE.
