Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) seeks a Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Manager to lead janitorial operations at our Chester, VA distribution center. This full-time role demands strong leadership, safety focus, and clear English/Spanish communication.

You will manage labor, schedules, training, and compliance across three shifts, drive cost efficiency, and maintain PPE and chemical handling standards. Starting pay is $19.80 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• 10 Hour OSHA general industry certification.
• OSHA forklift/scissor lift operator certification.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory/leadership in distribution centers, janitorial or building maintenance.
• Experience applying HR processes including staffing lifecycle, interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned janitorial operations personnel.
• Oversee operational budget, labor planning, and cost optimization.
• Ensure training for all personnel and uphold safety procedures.
• Measure performance, provide feedback, and develop staff with clear expectations.
• Coordinate with shifts to ensure daily schedules across 3 shifts.
• Maintain policy compliance and issue disciplinary actions when needed.
• Manage chemicals and supply inventory with proper PPE usage.
