Job summary

The Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga PA in Houston, TX seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys on active cases and prepare for trial. You will conduct fact-finding, maintain case files, and assist with depositions, hearings, and document management.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting attorneys on active cases.
• Strong diary/calendar management skills.
• Familiarity with pleadings, motions, and court filings.

Responsibilities

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties.
• Maintain attorney’s calendar.
• Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, mediations, hearings.
• Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe.
• E-file legal documents in Texas’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
• Communicate with clients.
• Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
