Haalufa USA, Inc. is seeking a Translation Project Manager to oversee translation and localization for English and Spanish across the DMV area (DC/MD/VA).

The role emphasizes cultural adaptation, stakeholder coordination, and high-quality communications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in project management, strong Spanish writing/speaking skills, and familiarity with CAT tools and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience in a large organizational setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish with fluent reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Knowledge of public transit terminology or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination, execution, and quality control of translation and localization activities for English and Spanish.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders to draft customer-facing communications in English and Spanish and manage translation solicitations and contracts.
• Create and manage internal language review teams for top languages, including recruitment and testing.
• Update terminology standards across top languages and ensure on-time, 100% accurate deliverables.
• Prepare correspondence and other materials for internal/external distribution; support offices and special projects.
• Collaborate with project staff to meet deadlines and provide linguistic support during customer events.
