Personal Touch Home Care of N.Y. Inc in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Training Assistant for the PCA/HHA Training Program. This full-time, in-person role supports the PCA and HHA training operations, onboarding, scheduling, and documentation.

Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish, have strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid HHA certificate. The position offers competitive pay ($20.00-$22.00/hour) and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of administrative, training coordination, education support, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Prior experience in home care, healthcare, workforce development, or training administration preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Must possess a current, unexpired Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate with hands-on work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administrative operations of the PCA and HHA Training Programs.
• Coordinate trainee enrollment, registration, and onboarding activities.
• Maintain student files and training records in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute training materials, manuals, handouts, and program documentation.
• Track attendance, testing results, competency evaluations, and program completion status.
• Ensure all required trainee documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
• Prepare certificates and graduation documentation upon successful completion of training.
• Maintain training databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
