Job summary

Special Touch Home Care seeks a Part-Time RN Training Instructor to lead the approved PCA/HHA training curriculum at our Gravesend Brooklyn training school. You will also conduct educational in-services for PCA/HHA staff and administer competency evaluations.

Requirements include a BSN, NY RN license in good standing, and at least 2 years RN experience in NY, including direct patient care in CHHA/LHCSA/Hospice. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN and NYS RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in NY.
• Minimum 1 year RN direct patient care in CHHA/LHCSA/Hospice.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach approved PCA/HHA training curriculum at Gravesend Brooklyn training school.
• Conduct in-services for PCA/HHA staff.
• Administer competency evaluations and complete required forms.
• Prepare course of study, including objectives, student performance objectives, and lesson plans.
• Proctor and grade tests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by director or management.
