Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Training Assistant to support PCA and HHA training programs. The role coordinates enrollment, onboarding, and records, and ensures program compliance with regulatory requirements.

The position is full-time, in-person, with a pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Strong English/Spanish communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of administrative or training coordination experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Must hold a current, unexpired HHA certificate with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administrative operations of PCA/HHA training programs.
• Coordinate trainee enrollment, onboarding and records.
• Maintain training files compliant with regulations.
• Prepare training materials and certificates on completion.
• Track attendance, testing and competency evaluations.
• Support scheduling of classes, labs, and clinicals.
• Communicate schedules and program requirements to trainees and instructors.
