Job summary

Compass Connections seeks a qualified candidate to lead post release and home study programs, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, relevant degrees, and extensive training experience.

You will develop training materials, manage staffing records, and collaborate with partner agencies while traveling to multiple locations and supporting foster care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social services.
• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or related fields preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications.
• 3+ years supervisory and case management with a master’s degree; 5+ years with a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines applicable to the position.
• Provide release and home study staff training per agency requirements.
• Develop and update staff training calendars with development opportunities including evenings and overnights.
• Maintain staff training records and confidentiality across programs.
• Develop professional relationships with peers and partnering agencies.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Implement Compass Connections safety protocols in emergencies.
• Travel as required to multiple locations (>50 miles from home office).
• Establish and implement training strategy for post release and home study programs.
