Job summary

Connect Pediatrics seeks a Therapy Coordinator to support therapy services coordination, authorizations, referrals, intake, and care coordination. You will act as a primary contact for therapists and families, ensuring timely communication and accurate documentation.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, excellent communication, and strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate therapy services, including authorizations, referrals/intake, insurance denials and coordination of care.
• Serve as a liaison between the agency, therapists, patients, and caregivers.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with therapists.
• Coordinate medical records, data entry, authorization review, and related therapy processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor workflows, identify concerns, and assist with implementing solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Communicate important patient, therapist, and operational updates to management.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with families, therapists, insurance representatives, and internal teams.
• Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies, payer requirements, and professional standards.
• Demonstrate initiative in meeting goals and improving therapy coordination processes.
