Job summary

Children’s Home & Aid in Chicago is seeking a Therapist/Counselor for our School‑Based Behavioral Health program at Family CARES Center to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a school-based setting.

This full-time, in-person role requires a Master’s degree and licensure eligibility in Illinois; the organization supports licensure with supervision and exam fee reimbursement, offers generous leave, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or closely related field.
• Eligible for clinical licensure in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC or LMFT) and will obtain licensure within 36 months.
• Obtains and maintains any required certifications (based on program model and/or funder) within one year of employment.
• Experience with evidence-based or trauma-informed practices such as TherapLAY, ARC framework, or related modalities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable vehicle required.
