Job summary

Family Service Association of Greater Elgin invites a bilingual School-Based Mental Health Therapist (English/Spanish) to provide comprehensive clinical services to students, families, and communities across school, home and community settings. You will maintain an active caseload, deliver individual, family and group therapy, and coordinate care with school staff and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or social work required.
• Licensed Professional Counselor licensure required.
• Bilingual Spanish is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to students and families.
• Provide family and group therapy as needed.
• Coordinate with school personnel on treatment plans and outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and meet Medicaid/Rule 132/140 requirements.
• Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments.
• Travel to assigned schools and community sites as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of administrative paperwork and reports.
