Job summary

PenFed Credit Union is seeking a Teller for the Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico Financial Center. The role focuses on member service, selling financial products, and accurate teller transactions, with opportunities to train other branch staff.

Responsibilities include balancing cash, handling transactions, and assisting with remote banking channels. Strong customer service and bilingual abilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of superior customer service experience.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Experience using AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet current and prospective members in person or by phone.
• Evaluate member needs and offer appropriate financial products and services.
• Identify sales opportunities and present options and solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of PenFed products and services.
• Assist members with PenFed Online, mobile banking and other remote channels.
• Balance cash drawer daily and prepare settlement sheets.
• Assist in daily balancing and closing out of the branch.
