Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and reflect accommodations.
• Plan instructional strategies and use materials and technology for diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and use results to plan activities.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with staff and supervise aides and volunteers.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement.
• Sponsor extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and community.
• Participate in staff development and comply with policies.
• Follow district safety protocols.
• Direct the work of assigned instructional aides.
