• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum; accommodate individual differences.
• Plan and use effective instructional strategies and materials for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with staff and determine methods to meet district requirements.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers; oversee completion of assigned work.
