Job Description

• Provides general instruction to students in their daily instructional activities by developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the requirements of the district’s curriculum program
• Work with other members of the staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and instructional methods
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing
• Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned
• Be a positive role model for students, and support mission of campus and district
• Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, administration, and other staff members
• Prefer an individual with a working knowledge of the general needs of student at this grade level, and the ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and parents.
