Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC is seeking a Teacher Aide in Indianapolis, IN to support classroom instruction and student engagement. The role emphasizes bilingual English/Spanish communication, collaboration with teachers, and implementation of lesson plans using available technology.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in Education and prior ELL/ESL teaching experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in Education preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication skills.
Experience teaching ELL/ESL is preferred.
Cross-cultural sensitivity is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, preparation, and delivery of lesson plans and materials.
Assist with delivery of lesson plans and tests per procedures.
Assist with instruction and monitoring of students using learning materials and equipment.
Use technology to support/differentiate instruction.
Manage student behavior in the classroom according to rules.
Maintain records of students' progress and program requirements.
Participate in school activities and staff meetings.
Provide instruction as backup to the teacher when needed.
