Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC in Indianapolis seeks a full-time Teacher for our Refugee and Immigrant Program. You will plan and deliver lesson plans, manage curriculum, and monitor student progress, collaborating with case managers and foster families.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, TESL/ESOL certification, and bilingual English/Spanish with strong communication. Evening/weekend availability and a dedication to faith-based service are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college.
• Active certification in TESL/ESOL or equivalent and additional training for Refugee/Immigrant children.
• At least two years in a similar role.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Bilingual English and Spanish with excellent English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Schedule and facilitate curriculum compliant with applicable requirements.
• Instruct and monitor students and use learning materials effectively.
• Maintain clear objectives and organize classroom activities.
• Prepare classroom and provide diverse learning resources and technology-enabled instruction.
• Maintain student records and monitor progress; communicate with case managers and foster parents.
