Job summary

Foundation Communities is seeking a Bilingual Site Manager to oversee seasonal tax sites in the Austin area during the 2027 filing season. You will support volunteer tax preparers, ensure smooth site operations, and help transmit returns to the IRS.

The role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time) across locations including Austin, Wells Branch, Round Rock, and Taylor. English and Spanish proficiency is required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Spanish.
• Experience coordinating volunteers or staff is a plus.
• Ability to manage site operations and resolve conflicts.
• Familiarity with basic computing and office software.
• Willingness to complete required tax trainings and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax site operations and daily opening/closing procedures.
• Provide guidance and ongoing training to volunteer tax preparers.
• Prepare, review, and transmit tax returns to the IRS.
• Process acknowledgments and coordinate with the transmitting office to fix rejected returns.
• Utilize email, scanning software, and Google Drive for site operations.
• Protect client confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements.
