Job summary

Evans Hotels in San Diego is seeking an entry-level Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support day-to-day recruitment. The role focuses on candidate sourcing, phone screening, interview coordination, posting jobs, and coordinating recruitment events across the company.

Ideal candidates are people-oriented, organized, comfortable speaking on the phone, and eager to learn in Talent Acquisition. On-site work with occasional travel to local properties is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, customer service, retail, or another customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers across properties to support recruitment.
• Maintain information on open positions, recruitment reports, and staffing needs.
• Review applications and resumes to identify potential candidates.
• Source candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, social media, referrals, and other channels.
• Contact candidates by phone, text, and email to discuss opportunities and coordinate interviews.
• Welcome walk-in applicants and guide them through the application process.
• Provide a positive candidate experience from first contact to interview.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
