Johnstown YMCA in Johnstown, CO is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to deliver engaging lessons in a friendly, safe aquatic environment. You will follow provided lesson plans, relate positively to participants and families, and maintain organization and a proactive teaching approach.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching swim lessons is not required but preferred.
• Proficient swimming and safety/rescue skills.
• Blood Borne Pathogens Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Swim instructors are enthusiastic and portray a positive attitude.
• Relate positively to children, parents, staff and program participants.
• Instructors must be organized and eager to teach; lesson plans provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
