Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking year-round Lifeguards to ensure safety around the pool and hot tub. A +10% differential applies for bilingual staff fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities include safety oversight, pool maintenance, water testing, and positive interaction with members and participants. Certifications in ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen, and CPR-PR are required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required or preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years.
• All lifeguard certifications required: ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR.

Responsibilities

• Protect the safety and wellbeing of members and guests around the pool and hot tub.
• Maintain pool cleanliness, water testing, and general maintenance.
• Engage positively with a variety of people including staff, members, and participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
