Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Social Worker with active Substance Abuse Counseling Certification to deliver individual and group therapies for clients with substance use and mental health needs. The role involves evaluating client needs, developing comprehensive service plans, and coordinating with social work teams to support reintegration into the community.

Responsibilities include client evaluations, treatment planning, court or arbitration representation, and maintaining detailed case notes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work with active Substance Abuse Counseling Certification.
• Must have a valid license to practice as a Social Worker.
• Bilingual with strong writing skills.
• Courses and training on addiction to drugs, alcohol and related services.

Responsibilities

• Perform targeted evaluations of clients' substance abuse.
• Participate in initial interviews to determine needs and maintain social reports.
• Provide individual and group therapies for substance abuse and improve social/community skills.
• Design plans guiding clients to achieve goals and reintegration into the community.
• Develop service plans in collaboration with the Social Worker and team.
• Visit penal institutions as required by the program.
• Lead self-help, family, and couples meetings.
• Review records for eligibility documents; coordinate with the Coordinator.
• Keep service notes and prepare work and statistical reports.
• Conduct drug tests and monitor client progress.
