Job summary

Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc. is seeking an Ames Assistant Store Manager who is bilingual preferred to support operations at an Ames Tools store. You will help grow revenues, manage daily tasks, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining organized showroom and inventory.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related experience, with willingness to work retail hours and assist with multi-store coverage. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or store operations is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in growing revenues and profitability.
• Open and close the store when the manager is absent.
• Merchandise products and organize showroom and rear warehouse.
• Report inventory discrepancies or customer issues to the store manager.
• Assist with store coverage of other locations in the region as needed.
• Build relationships with customers and cultivate new business opportunities.
