Job description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of quality and visual presentation in the store. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and meeting sales goals.

The position involves contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuables. To protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of all stakeholders, a review of criminal history is conducted.

The selected individual will work at Store #1013, located at 18570 Eureka Rd, Southgate, MI 48195.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
