Job description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They are expected to promptly resolve customer concerns, ensure maximum client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of quality and visual presentation in the store. The role involves delivering excellent customer service and meeting sales goals.

The position involves contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. To protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, and the public, a review of criminal history is required.

The selected individual will work at Store #1764 located at 3410 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
3. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
4. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
5. Ability to, with or without reasonable accommodation, retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion.
6. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
2. High School diploma or GED.
3. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
4. Previous experience selling paint and related products.
5. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
