Job Description: Store Associate

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of product quality and store appearance. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.

Job duties include customer interactions, which may involve minors; access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment

Responsibilities
