North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, at least twice weekly, per physician orders.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, Texas license, and pediatric experience. Bilingual in Spanish is required; home health experience is preferred. May supervise fellows with 3+ years of experience.

• CCC-SLP (Clinical Fellowship year) completed.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0–21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, and related impairments using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise interventions.
• Plan and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
