Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric home health services in the Lewisville, TX area. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, successful CFY completion, and Texas licensure, with Spanish bilingual abilities as a plus.

You will deliver therapy to children aged 0–21, conduct assessments, interpret results, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year (CFY).
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience with pediatric populations required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services at patients' homes or daytime facilities of patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ visits per week as ordered.
• Define patient impairments using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate team goals and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
