Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home health services for children ages 0–21 in the Texas area. A Master’s degree and Texas licensure plus CCC-SLP are required.

The role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, swallowing, and feeding disorders, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and supervising Clinical Fellows if experienced.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• CCC-SLP certification and Texas license to practice.
• Experience in pediatrics required; home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program.
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.
