Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled services in the home or daytime facilities for children ages 0–21. The role requires completing the CF year (CCC-SLP) and Texas licensure, with pediatric experience as a must.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, tailor evaluations and therapy to each child, educate families, and document results. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and home health experience is preferred to support

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college.
• CCC-SLP Clinical Fellowship year completed.
• Texas licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Pediatrics experience required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, 2+ times weekly.
• Define degree and type of speech-related impairments using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and educate staff.
• Plan and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training and materials.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPA if you have 3+ years of experience.

• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
