Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home services and daytime facility visits for children ages 0-21. The role requires a Master's in SLP, Texas license, and completion of the Clinical Fellowship (CCC-SLP).

A pediatric setting is essential, with home health experience preferred and bilingual Spanish abilities highly valued. You will assess communication disorders, develop plans, train caregivers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year (CCC-SLP).
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in home or daytime facility for patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times weekly per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, and fluency impairments using testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise team on modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
