Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, two or more times weekly, following physician orders. Requirements include a Master's degree in SLP, Texas licensure, completion of CF year (CCC-SLP), pediatric experience, and Spanish bilingual abilities.

Home health experience is preferred. The role offers full- and part-time benefits including medical/dental, PTO, and retirement

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP: Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year.
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient and advise, consult, and instruct team in speech therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed materials/resources and in-service programs.
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.
