Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education in California is seeking an experienced, fully licensed SLP to support school-based services. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required, and eligibility for the CA SLP credential is acceptable for applicants working toward licensure.

Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, undergo fingerprint and TB clearance, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and IEP teams.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current CA SLP license/credential or eligibility.
  • Fingerprint background clearance required.
  • TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct CA school-based SLP services in an ethical and legal manner.
  • Perform assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and IEP teams on service delivery.
  • Target modification, accommodation, and generalization of skills.
  • Maintain daily therapy logs and data collection.
  • Write IEP goals aligned to curricular standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conducting ethically and legally defensible CA school-based services
  • Conducting appropriate assessments, writing comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Consulting and collaborating with Parent/Teacher/IEP Team regarding service delivery
  • Targeting modification, accommodation and/or generalization of skills
  • Maintaining daily therapy logs, data collection, attendance registers
  • IEPs: Writing goals in support of curricular standards
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to provide services in English and Spanish.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CA SLP license/credential or eligibility
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
  • Settings Available: Onsite; School
  • Years of experience, specialties, and geographic regions are all considered when determining salary offers.
